The marble deposit is found at 500 metres above sea level, between the white marble mountains and the Mediterranean. Towering blocks of white stone cut out of the quarries just up the road not only shape the space physically, but also conduct sound and reflect light, allowing artists to play with and experiment across media, from the physical to the digital, to create new forms borne of artists' interaction with local geographic peculiarity.
