Vox Marmoris festival brings together light, sound and space in a blend of artistic media
PROGRAM SUMMER 2024
'By Day' 24 - 27 July
'By Night' 26 - 27 July from 9pm
Palazzo Binelli, an iconic 19th-century residence, has recently been restored to its former glory. Originally built in 1888 by architect Leandro Caselli for the Binelli family, the building has served various purposes over the years, including hosting a branch of the Bank of Italy and later the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara and the local Art High School. Purchased by the Cassa di Risparmio di Carrara in 1994 and subsequently restored, Palazzo Binelli is now owned by a foundation that initiated an extensive recovery project. During Vox Marmoris, this historic building will be the hub for talks and conferences exploring the connections between art, music, and technology, offering the public a unique opportunity for learning and reflection. On July 26, Palazzo Binelli will host the talk "Beyond the Visible: The Art of Interactive Installations" with Ephemeral Tomorrow + O. and Cristian Rizzuti & Julian Alvárez, and on July 27, the talk "Digital Metamorphosis: From Software to Sculpture" with Quayola with Robotor and Max Cooper.
