Vox Marmoris Festival 2024: Art, Technology, and Light in Dialogue
The Vox Marmoris Festival 2024 hosted two illuminating talks at Palazzo Binelli in Carrara, exploring the intersection of art, technology, and light.
July 26, 2024: "Beyond the Visible: The Art of Interactive Installations"
The Berlin-based collective Ephemeral Tomorrow, alongside O., presented "Light Echoes," a project that explores the interaction between light and mountain environments. Cristian Rizzuti discussed "Amnesia," an audiovisual installation in which light investigates the boundary between the visible and invisible, creating a sensory experience that connects past and present.
July 27, 2024: "Digital Metamorphosis: From Software to Sculpture"
Artist Quayola, in collaboration with Robotor, presented "Fighters," a work that integrates traditional sculpture with modern technology. Max Cooper discussed the collaboration on the 4K film "Fighters," which combines music and visual arts, highlighting how the synergy between technology and art is redefining contemporary sculpture.
Both discussions were moderated by Damir Ivic, a key figure in the Italian music scene, who enriched the conversations with his experience as a journalist and music critic.
These talks offered audiences insights into the new frontiers of interactive art and the digital transformation of sculpture, emphasizing the importance of integrating art and technology in today's artistic landscape.
